I’m a cookbook-reading, pastry-eating, endlessly-snacking recipe collector, and on good days a writer (and maybe a cook.) The past few years have taken me from Idaho to Indonesia to Florida to Vancouver BC, finally settling in Seattle with a love of fried rice, Cuban black beans, sushi, and grimy taco trucks picked up along the way.

Once upon a time I wanted to be a chef, but some kitchen time killed that right quick and I’ve found my true home on the other side of the swinging door, hungrily eating and excitedly writing. I’m part of a boutique lifestyle PR agency in Seattle where we work primarily with restaurants and chefs, and I do as much freelance writing (about things both edible and non) on the side as I can.
